Fr. Thomas Wilson of the Blessed Sacrament was born on June 10, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Thomas and Marion (nee Murphy) Wilson.

He attended St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he graduated on June 3, 1955. He then petitioned to attend Saint Joseph’s Minor Seminary in Peterborough, New Hampshire where he graduated on June 3, 1956.

He entered the novitiate on August 14, 1956, and made his first profession on August 15, 1957.  He was ordained to the priesthood on April 5, 1964. On June 23, 1965, Father received a licentiate degree in Sacred Theology from the International Theological College.

Father resided at the monastery in Brookline, Massachusetts and then moved to Holy Hill in 1976. His time at Holy Hill was temporary “until such time as you finish your work on the Commission for the Re-evaluation of the Teresianum.”

Fr. Thomas died on January 23, 1982, and is buried at the Carmelite Cemetery in Hubertus, Wisconsin.
