Holy Hill is a bustling community in Hubertus, just outside of Milwaukee. It is a destination for both locals and for people throughout the region.
For Catholics living in Hubertus and the surrounding area, Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill is where they enrich their Catholic faithFriars hear confessions, offer catechetical events, and celebrate the Mass.
In addition, people travel to Holy Hill shrine to pray and attend events. The friars here host Days of Recollection, retreats, and other big events.

This community is on a 5-acre parcel amidst the busyness of Washington, D.C.:
Less than a mile from the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
Three miles from the White House and one mile from Capitol Hill.
Adjacent to the Catholic University of America.
In addition, this monastery serves as the headquarters for the Institute of Carmelite Studies. The primary focus of the institute is ICS Publications, where Discalced Carmelites write, print, and sell books on the history and spirituality of Carmel, sharing the riches of the Carmelite tradition with English-language audiences.
Two friars who lived in this monastery were martyred in Spain in 1936. On October 28, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI beatified the martyrs :

Our community in Brighton is adjacent to Boston College. This monastery serves as our student house, as well as the headquarters for the Secular Order of the Discalced Carmelites (OCDS). Brighton is also our provincial tailor shop, where the habits for the friars are made.
